The objective of the project is the economic, social and cultural development of Timiș County capitalizing the Mocioni Mansion in Foeni, a historical monument of national and universal value. 

The specific objectives consist in:  

1. increasing the tourist-cultural attractiveness of the area by rehabilitating and re-functionalizing the historical monument - Mocioni Mansion from Foeni commune, Timiș County;

2. the development of an attractive and unique cultural offer in Timiș County capitalizing the historical monument located in a marginalized rural environment.

Mocioni Mansion will become a center for cultural, educational and artistic activities. The actions planned to take place here are intersectorial, having cultural, educational, patrimonial, tourist or artistic specificity.

The revitalization plan is a most complex one, setting up the action and support group Friends of Mocioni Mansion, awareness and information campaign, study visits, training camp for young artists and professionals, interdisciplinary street art and landscape design residency, visual art residency, Banat frustuck, intercultural education activities, heritage education activities, Mocioni Mansion Day.

The project will contribute to the consolidation of the collaboration between the entities from Romania and the Donor States. The exchange of experience and the sharing of good practices in the field, the development of activities both in Romania and in Iceland, with an emphasis on art, culture, cultural management, will bring significant mutual benefits.

An important element for the promotion of both the project and the cultural center is the involvement of Baron Michael de Styrcea, who accepted the role of Ambassador of the project.
